Today I'm going to evidence you a very easy project with a repurposed Vocalist Sewing Auto. I went through a dry spell,non getting any sewing machines, then institute myself with 3 of them. The first i I transformed into a makeup tabular array vanity.
This was a freebie from a neighbor. I've never seen a Vocalist sewing machine or cabinet in such bad shape.

Clean the base of operations of the repurposed Vocalizer Sewing Machine
I got decorated removing all the wooden parts, which was very uncomplicated. There are just four large screws that concur the Singer Treadle to the wooden cabinet. In order to go far piece of cake, turn the treadle sewing machine upside down.
It was hard to tell the shape that the base was in without cleaning it up. I used a degreaser called Krud Kutter. It really does all the piece of work for you. Spray it on, wait a few minutes, then hose off the dirt. I did that twice.
Afterward the base of the repurposed Vocaliser Sewing Car dried, I realized that I wasn't going to be able to get out it in information technology'south original status. It needed to be hit with a wire brush.
This antique sewing motorcar T.V. table had some rust on it and I used Vaseline!
Later on I bought all of that forest from the Peddler's Mall, I had to exercise some reorganization in the garage. I had a large plastic shelf property all of my paint. I was unable to slide in the larger pieces of plywood because the shelf was in the manner. Then, I ordered this handy wire shelf
Y'all can encounter that I was unable to slide my wood in and out of my lumber storage demote in this BEFORE shot.

Spray paint the base of the sewing machine
I decided I should start using up some of that spray pigment on some quick and like shooting fish in a barrel projects! That last singer treadle was spray painted black. I wanted to do a fun color for this ane. Later all, information technology's merely pigment! If it doesn't sell, I can simply repaint it. 
I was originally going to use this table top that came off a pub table for the repurposed Singer Sewing Machine. Only I wasn't loving the colors together. I decided that the summit needed to be darker.
I decided to use some of this reclaimed fencing as a table pinnacle. Because I was sort of in a rush I didn't accept any pictures.
I used three fence boards cut to size, and used to smaller pieces to connect them all together. (meet beneath) I wanted them to be black, but I didn't really desire to paint them so I used some Minwax Gel Stain (classic blackness)

Later on the stain dried, I did a quick dry out fit on the repurposed Singer Sewing Machine to see if I liked this improve than the one higher up. I decided it works for now.
In this picture you can see that I made sure to space the brace boards to the correct distance of the base. I used the original screws from the Vocaliser sewing machine to attach the top to the base by drilling pilot holes first.
This car was missing one of the original casters. I ordered ane off of Ebay. It was easy to put on, and then I did some touch on upwardly spray painting.

I'1000 really glad I was able to find the extra caster online. I thought I was going to have to remove the other three. I'thousand yet loving my chalk painted cage lamp.
I nevertheless have one more treadle machine, it'southward been painted green. I'grand not sure what I'm going to do with it.
